Local Luminary Audio Angel Produces Innovative Juneteenth Performance “Inside / Out - Black Sonoma Artistry in Progress” 

 

Sebastopol, CA - June 19, 2026  - The Inside / Out project offers an intimate, experimental dive into the creative processes of 8 Black Sonoma County musicians. It begins with a Juneteenth event and culminates in a virtual summit during Black History Month in February of 2027.

 

At the Juneteenth event, each featured artist will delve into the miracle of creation and share their unique creative process - an organic journey from seed to plant. Through stories and musical performance, they will create an evening filled with surprises and inspiration that exemplifies the freedom Juneteenth symbolizes. We invite a diverse and mixed audience that centers BIPOC youth who will play a key role in tracking the impact of the 9 - month project again from seed to plant.

 

Inside / Out is a celebration of organic art from Black artists at a time when human musicians are headed towards extinction. Our voices are being taken by technology. Literally stolen. We may be living in the last times that we can examine and FEEL, in real time, the value of an artists' process. Which AI will never be able to offer.

 

Featured Artists Include: genre defying vocalist Audio Angel, revolutionary rapper D-Square, international electronic artist Eki Shola, soulful singer/songwriter Erica Ambrin, lyrical explorer King Lung, powerful poetic performer LaiddBackZach, community catalyst + rapper PaqGod, and Experimental DJ/Producer Sick Sentz.
